Going Underground to be released for official premiere

Updated: Aug 9, 2018

Feature documentary, Going Underground, to be premiered for the first time as it enters the festival circuit. The year-long project, produced in 2016 by AC Media and Film, will be played at Harbour Lights Picturehouse in Maritime Walk, Southampton, on the 15th September 2018, with tickets now available here.

Going Underground documents the 2016 London Tube Challenge, a 24hr physical and mental challenge where runners aim to visit all 270 stations on the London underground map. The documentary follows primary runners, Das Stevens and Andrew James, through their training and the official challenge.

As well as visiting all 270 stations, the aim of the London Tube Challenge was to raise money for the charity, Children In Need, which the runners succeeded in doing with the generosity of morning and afternoon commuters as well as Friday night revellers.

The challenge raised an impressive £574.56 for Children In Need, through both online donations on Just Giving and cash donations throughout the day.
